Too Hot!

About 23 animal species are getting additional hydration to help them beat the heat from the mild el nino in the Cebu Zoo. Zoo Manager Giovanni Romarate said, zoo workers are providing the animals multivitamins, water with dextrose powder and takes them a bath atleast 3 times a day to hydrate them daily. Chief of Pagasa-Visayas Oscar Tabada said the temperature started rising in February and is expected to reach  34°C this month and the effects of the el nino will be more felt this April and May.
